POY issues grants and interest-free loans, which are critical components for economic stability, opportunity, and long-term mobility. Many of the communities we serve in Imo State lack access to traditional financial systems. We provide the capital, flexibility, and safety nets needed for individuals and small businesses to build assets and strengthen local economies.

Mobile Food Pantry Program
One of POY’s core priorities is caring for society’s most vulnerable. We strive to alleviate hunger while fostering resilience and hope in hard-to-reach communities in Imo State. Nigeria has limited social service programs, and through our mobile food distribution, the Foundation provides essential supplies to indigent individuals in Imo State who are too elderly or too ill to participate in our economic empowerment programs, ensuring they receive the nourishment and support needed to live with dignity.

Health Fairs
The majority of the population we serve does not have medical insurance or receive regular medical care. POY is committed to bringing free essential health services directly into communities in Imo State, making care more accessible and equitable. We recognize that health screenings, health education, and early detection are critical to promoting healthier habits and enabling people to live more productive lives.

Apprenticeship Program
Nigeria’s high unemployment rate makes apprenticeship programs essential. POY partners with local entrepreneurs in Imo State to provide hands-on training in in-demand skills, helping participants gain practical experience without the cost of traditional higher education. By bridging the gap between learning and employment, the program creates a faster, more affordable pathway to sustainable careers while strengthening the local workforce.
